Spring and Fall prices: Prices vary depending on session length. $220 to $285/session for regular classes, $180 to $210/session for Pre classes (30 min). Get 10% off when enrolling in two or more classes — applied automatically at checkout.

Summer prices: $12 per class (Pre-Ballet and Pre-Hip Hop) and $15 per class (45 mins, 1 hour, and 1hr 15 mins). Get 20% off when purchasing five or more classes — applied automatically at checkout.

Levels are based on a combination of age and experience. Keiki classes are grouped primarily by age. Teens & Adults classes use Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced tiers. Your instructor can help you find the right fit.

Some advanced classes require approval from the instructor before enrollment. This ensures the class moves at the right pace for everyone. Talk to your instructor or email us to discuss.

Sign in at the front desk with first and last name. Wait quietly for class to begin. Enter the dance floor with clean shoes or bare feet.

Check the specific class page for attire requirements. Bring a filled water bottle. When in doubt, email us. A few basics by style:

• Ballet — leotard, skirt, hair pulled back, ballet slippers.
• Jazz — clothes you can move and stretch in. Jazz shoes or socks.
• Contemporary — clothes you can move and stretch in. Bare feet or socks.
• Hip Hop — sneakers (clean, indoor-only) and clothes you can move freely in.
• Tap — tap shoes are for the dance floor only. Do not wear them on the asphalt before or after class — it ruins the taps and the dance floor.

Parking at the studio is limited — come early if you want a spot. Overflow parking on Hinano Street (one block over), Kawili Street, or Laukapu Street. Do not use the adjacent church lot — there is a towing risk. Drop-off at studio doors is fine for older keiki.

‘Ohana are welcome to watch — please limit observers to one or two people due to limited space. Mahalo for keeping conversations quiet to help dancers and instructors focus.

Keiki (Spring & Fall): No refunds or credits once a session starts. Processing fees may apply for refunds. Up to two makeup classes per session. Available on a limited basis. Email info@centerstagehilo.com to request.

Keiki (Summer): Use the class credit request form and submit before the end of the day of the missed class. Processing fees may apply for refunds.

Teens & Adults: Use the class credit request form and submit before the end of the day of the missed class. Processing fees may apply for refunds.

We are open during school breaks.

Holiday closures:

Yes. Every Fall (December) and Spring (May) session ends with a live showcase. Venues include the Palace Theatre and UH Hilo Performing Arts Center. They're a celebration of what our dancers have developed over the session.

We are able to offer a few scholarships every session. If cost is a barrier, please email info@centerstagehilo.com to inquire.

We also work with homeschool assistance programs.

We welcome help of all kinds — cleaning, fixing, fundraising, whatever. We always need help at our showcases! We're a true community — we can't do this without your kōkua.
