Tap I

Tap I is the perfect class for keiki who have no previous experience with tap dancing. We focus on rhythm and coordination, while also having lots of fun in a group setting. As students build confidence in their steps, they learn the importance of working together as a group within a dance routine.

Megan Rohrbacher has a long history of dance, theater, circus, and teaching. She started doing summer theater across the United States with her parents at the age of four. Megan has learned every aspect of the theater and production. She started her dancing career at 9 years old and attended Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Clown College in Venice, Florida at 18. She owned her own clown business for 10 years and then returned to teaching tap, directing and choreographing in the San Francisco Bay area for over 38 years before coming to Hawai'i. Megan is passionate about passing on the oldest American dance genre of tap dancing to dancers here in Hawai'i.
